Marketing Executive

Are you a talented marketing professional with experience in the online space? Would you like to play a key role in the rapid growth of one of New Zealand's leading software companies? 

We are looking for an ambitious executive to help plan and execute revenue-generating strategies as we continue to grow our brand internationally.

About the Role:
We are looking for a driven marketing professional to plan, execute and report on marketing strategies and campaigns.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing a range of activities including but not limited to:

  • Digital marketing projects
  • Content creation & contribution to the creative process
  • Event & promotion management
  • Research & data gathering/analysis

This is a fast-paced role – organisation and multi-tasking are essential. A genuine passion for digital marketing strategies and online technologies would be desirable.

You must have great communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be based in our Christchurch office but the role will also involve some travel, possibly overseas.

Required skills & experience:
  • Proven success in B2B marketing
  • Exceptional writing skills, and the ability to adapt style depending on audience
  • Online marketing skills: email marketing and pay-per-click advertising in particular
  • Good understanding of the latest online software, technologies and social media trends
Ideally you will have one or more of the following:
  • Experience marketing online/digital products and services
  • Experience with marketing automation systems
In addition to the above, you would really stand out if:
  • You have experience working with accountants or software for accountants

Ideally, we're looking for someone with several years experience in an online/hi-tech company - but the ability to hit the ground running and learn on-the-go could mean you come out on top.

You will be reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, as well as working closely with our creative web development team, international sales team and external/contracted resources.
